ARU Women’s Sevens Rugby Pathway to Gold Trials Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to the activities run through the Pathway to Gold Program (Activities) conducted by the Australian Rugby Union and/or their nominee and affiliates (ARU). These Terms and Conditions may be amended or varied from time to time.
Approval for Publications
During your participation in the Activities photos and video footage may be taken and published on the ARU’s website, newspapers, newsletters, education journals (research) and used for other purposes by the ARU. By participating in the Activities you acknowledge your acceptance with this clause.
For all participants under the age of 18 at the time of trialling, a consent form must be signed by a parent or guardian.
The ARU Sports Injury and Liability Insurance Scheme provides a basic level of insurance for players, members and officials associated with club rugby. Participants are covered under the ARU Sports Injury and Liability Insurance Scheme whilst engaged is Come & Try activities. The insurance scheme referred to does not provide sports accident insurance coverage for Activities that are run at a school or when a school attends an Activity as part of a school excursion.
You acknowledge that participation in the Activities may carry with it certain dangers including the risk of injury and damage to property, and agree, to the extent permitted by law, to waive all claims for liability against any participant (including players, coaches, volunteers and administrators) and release every such participant from all liability that may be incurred in connection with your participation in the Activities.
In the event that a child (U18) participating in the event is injured and the parent/guardian/teacher of the child is not present, the ARU will arrange such medical, ambulance or hospital care it deems necessary. The parent/guardian of the child will meet all expenses associated with that care.

Participants in the activities are bound by the ARU’s Code of Conduct. The Code can be obtained and viewed at www.rugby.com.au
