Please Note: Every college-level course has a certain amount of content it should cover, as defined by the U.S. Department of Education, regardless of the length of time in which it is covered. Traditionally, courses at most colleges are 16 weeks long however, you will notice that ours are 8 weeks in length. Our courses are designed to cover the same amount of content in half the time and so are more intense. The advantage is that students may cover more material quicker, but the workload is increased due to the shorter length of the course.
For each 3 credit hour course, you should expect to spend about 10 hours per week doing your coursework. These 10 hours include time spent on video or audio lessons, reading assignments, discussion forums, and other course-related assignments.
In order to facilitate your success and growth and help keep you from becoming overwhelmed and stressed, we recommend that you take into consideration the amount of time you will be required to spend on each concurrent course before you sign up for them.
