Surgical Scheduling: Counsel potential surgery patients on pre-operative and post-operative instructions. Boards patients at the hospital, obtains medical clearance, retrieves authorization from insurance carriers, coordinating with the hospital for screening and more. This is a full-time position only.
Clinical Assistant: Triages patients via phone and schedules appointments; screens and refers phone calls, and communicates with patients for all inquiries; provides clerical, word processing, and staff support to the unit. Obtains imaging authorizations for patients and manages the clinic schedule. This position is merged with medical records and also encompasses those duties.
Clinic Preparatory Assistant: Gathers all necessary documents and reports needed for the doctor to view during appointments. Works heavily with our EHR software and communicates with patients and other doctors offices to achieve this goal
Medical Receptionist: This description encompasses both the check in and check out position. Works the front desk, has a lot of patient interaction, verifies insurance, and checks paperwork. Your responsibilities include inputting the doctors’ orders for prescriptions, giving and explaining referrals and imaging to patients, creating upcoming appointments and sorting electronic documents for the staff and doctors.
Human Resources Assistant: Responsible for enforcing company policies, ensuring legal compliance with federal and state requirements, monitoring employee attendance, screening applications, interviewing and hiring employees for the practice, managing payroll and benefits, obtaining privileges at hospitals, and responding to online reviews
Research Assistant: Main responsibilities are to conduct research in the form of patient interviews in order to collect pre- and post-surgical outcomes, as well as manage the clinical research databases. Entry level data collection and analysis will be assigned by research manager. Upon learning basic skills for research, tasks will be updated based on job performance and working knowledge of skills.
Research Coordinator: You will assist the Clinical Research Manager in managing several resident research projects under the guidance of the research program director. Tasks include but not limited to, data collection and analysis, management of the clinical research databases, assisting in staff management, and IRB submission. Experience in biostatistics is required.
Medical Billing Assistant: Various job responsibilites include payment posting, working knowledge of electronic medical charts, hospital coding, accounts receivable, reconciling explanations of benefits, and correcting and submitting claims to insurance companies.
X-Ray Technician: Your responsibilities would include properly positioning the patients and executing the imaging, performing patient's history and physical, and taking patient vitals. Must be able to efficiently take x-rays and aid the physician in diagnosis.
Medical Scribe: Responsible for taking part in clinic days with the physician in exam rooms, taking down diagnostic and physical finds from their visit, and checking medical record charts. A non-clinic day will be transcribing the patients information into formatted notes.
Data Analyst/Clinical Research Manager: Develops and reviews statistical analysis plans. Maintain an active residency research program by facilitating the implementation, data collection, analysis, reporting, submission, and publication of departmental projects. Facilitate preparation of IRB, conference submittals, methodology conferences, and journal clubs. Maintain research department productivity as well as train and manage research staff.
