If you are a previous customer who has already received an evaluation from Transcript Research, and you would like to upgrade your evaluation or request additional work to be evaluted, please use our Upgrade Application.

Please list ALL educational institutions you have attended, beginning with secondary or high school through your highest level of education, whether the credentials will be evaluated or not. Your application will be delayed if this is incomplete.

Important: If you have completed more than one level of university study but would only like to have one level evaluated, we require copies of all post-secondary studies in order to make a fair assessment of your education. 

For example, if you have completed both a Bachelor and a Master degree but only want the Master studies evaluated, then you will submit scans of both but tell us in the Notes section that you want only your Master studies evaluated. You would only need to mail us your official documents for your Master studies in this example, but you would provide scans from your Bachelor as well. 

IMPORTANT: You MUST include the academic history of all documents being evaluated, or your evaluation will be put on hold. If you have earned a degree, diploma, or certificate, you must include that graduation document with the other materials (transcripts, academic record, etc.) you send for evaluation, or your evaluation will be delayed while we wait for them. You must submit the transcripts as well as any diplomas or degrees earned unless your evaluation will only be of secondary studies from a country with a national leaving examination.

Transcript Research does not evaluate domestic (US) credentials, but if you have attended educational institutions in the US, please include them on your education history. 

Evaluation Types

General Evaluation: This is typically recommended for immigration, employment, and freshman admission to colleges and universities; this version does not include the GPA (Grade Point Average).

General Evaluation with GPA: A U.S.-style GPA is sometimes required by colleges and universities for use in making an admissions decision. 

Course-by-Course Evaluation: Typically recommended for further education, some employment, and professional certification; it includes the GPA.  Course-by-course for higher education credentials lists all subjects with U.S. credits and grades. We also offer a course-by-course of high school/secondary education records, but it will not include credits, only subjects and grades.

Rush Service

Rush service refers to business/work days only (not calendar days). 5-Day Rush refers to 5 business days, and 2-Day Rush refers to 2 business days. 

Counting for due dates begins on the day following receipt of the application, fee, and documents. For example, a 5-day rush application received by 5 pm on Friday will be complete the following Friday. A 2-day rush application received on Monday will be completed on Wednesday, and a Friday application will be completed the following Tuesday. 2-day rush is NOT next-day service; we require a full two days.

Please note that, even with Rush service, if verification of your documents is required, delays may occur. In addition, we are unable to finalize and mail your evaluation if official academic credentials have not been received by the expected due date. 

For standard turn-around-time, we make every effort to complete our evaluations within approximately 3-4 weeks. If you have a specific deadline that's coming up soon, be sure to leave yourself enough time or choose a rush option with a set due date.

Shipping

Transcript Research only mails items with tracking, whether we are returning your official documents to you or sending an evaluation report directly to a third party. For US/domestic addresses, you have the option of Priority Mail (3-4 business days) or Express Mail (1-2 day) shipping. For international addresses, we only offer Express Mail due to tracking. 

Note: Express Mail shipping only means your package will be sent by a fast delivery method. It will not expedite the process of completing your evaluation. If you need your evaluation completed faster than our standard turnaround time of approximately 3-4 weeks, then you should choose a rush service option. 

Evaluation reports are mailed at the end of the business day they are completed. Transcript Research does not make any guarantees about when your evaluation report will be delivered. If you choose a rush service option, then we will complete and mail your evaluation by the due date (assuming all requirements have been met in that time period), but once it arrives at the post office, we have no control over the US Postal Service time frame. Generally, domestic priority mail is 3-4 business days, but it has increasingly taken up to one week. Typically, domestic express mail is 1-2 business days, but it may also take additional time with the post office. Shipping time is outside of our control, so if you need your evaluation report to arrive before a specific date, ensure that you apply early and/or purchase an electronic copy of your evaluation that we will send by email or fax.

You can upload scanned copies of your transcripts, degrees, diplomas so we can start your evaluation. You will still be required to mail official documents. Don't forget to include degrees or diplomas you may have earned. If you have more than 3 attachments, email them to info@transcriptresearch.com 

Please note that all applicants must submit official or original documents. Applicants from China, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Iran, Kenya, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Zimbabwe have precise requirements. Be sure to read the Requirements before applying since exceptions cannot be made.
