Retirees Membership - NEW MEMBER, OR RENEWAL PAY BY CHECK, OR UPDATE INFO Logo
  • Membership Form for Initially Joining (First Year Free), Renewing Dues by Check Payment, or Updating Member Information

  • Why join? Stay connected to the US Fish & Wildlife Service, renew friendships, make new friends with similar interests, travel to unique wild places, and/or volunteer for fish and wildlife conservation.

A FWS Retiree is any person who worked for the FWS and has now retired, including their spouses or partners. If you were caught up in a reorganization, retired from another agency, or took on a second career, but still consider yourself part of the FWS family, you are an eligible FWS Retiree. Among these are colleagues who were formerly in Research, Animal Damage Control, or working at National Fish Hatcheries that were transferred to State operation.

If you are a current employee of the FWS you are also welcome to join as a regular member before you retire, though you will not be able to vote or hold office in the Association until you retire.

In addition, any person who has retired and has an interest in the mission of the Association may join as an Associate Member. Associate members must pay dues upon joining (no "First Year Free").  Associate members are not eligible to vote, hold office or participate in directing the activities and operations of the Association. Associate members who fail to pay dues will be removed from the membership rolls at the end of the calendar year when their dues become delinquent.

  • Our focus areas:

    • preserving and highlighting the rich history of the Service,
    • mentoring youth and new employees,
    • learning about current conservation challenges and successes,
    • periodic reunions,
    • national and international volunteer projects,
    • helping celebrate significant anniversaries of FWS facilities.
  • Notes:

This form can be used to initially join the Retirees Association (first year of membership is free - except for Associate Members), update membership information which may have changed since you initially joined, or to pay or renew your dues by mailing a check to the Treasurer.  For those wanting to pay their membership dues by credit card online, please use the form found by clicking here (Pay Online Form) instead of using this form.

All new members will receive a membership pin.  If you are currently a member and have lost yours you may request a new one further down on this form.

Note that if you initially join or pay your dues during the last quarter of the year (October - December), your first year free or dues payment will apply to both this year and next year, so you would be up-to-date with your dues/membership status through the end of next year!

You may select only one of the choices in the next section below.  If you are not yet a member and want to join, select the first option (unless you are joining as an Associate Member).    If you are already a member and only updating your membership information (such as address, phone number, etc) or need a new membership pin, you should select the second option.  If you are wanting to pay or renew your dues by check, select one of the payment choices.

If you are joining as, or you are already an Associate Member, you must select one of the buttons under the Associate Membership section below .

Items marked with red asterisks (*) are required to have a selection or information filled in!
